Sneak Peak: Dr. Manhattan

We at Crits Kill People got word from Misty about the idea of introducing Dr. Manhattan to the Batman Miniature Game.  I asked about why Misty decided to add Dr. Manhattan to the game and he replied in his usual green text: "Many ask for Flash and Superman, so Dr. Manhattan felt like best way to make sure these powerful characters don't appear overpowered."  When I asked Misty about how much information he could give me, he said that he could only give a little bit. Misty could only give a little bit of information on Dr. Manhattan as they're still play testing a way for him to be fair within the Batman Miniature Game. He told me that it was exciting to test powerful abilities, such as Defence 7. "Dr. Manhattan is possible to overcome but still want difficulties even if use Gang Up or Master Fighter." Personally, I found his ranged weapon "Vaporize" - his only attack options to be very intriguing. LightThrowing, Remote Control, Sharp, 4 Blood and Crit: Casualty with 4 ammo to start.  And yes, before you ask, Dr. Manhattan does indeed have Total Vision.

Misty also could divulge Dr. Manhattan's special rule. "Molecular" which allows Dr. Manhattan to apply his Total Vision and Electrical Storm to his Batclaw. This would allow Dr. Manhattan to Batclaw to anywhere on the table and choose to use Electrical Storm at either the start or end of the Batclaw movement.  "I think it is important that Dr. Manhattan be able to really use his Special with his Will Power 9 and Scientific." With Sneak Attack, Luck, Unpredictable and Rapid Fire being listed I'm sure Dr. Manhattan will have plenty of options to choose from.

I asked Misty if Dr. Manhattan's ability to see into the past and future at will would allow him to use many of the pre-game or during game manipulations; such as, Mastermind, Searcher, Informer, Grand Strategist and Detective.  To which Misty replied 'yes' and when I asked for a clarification, Misty replied: "All of them is a good start, we think of adding new abilities as they enter the game."

In the interview, I asked Misty about any parting words about designing Dr. Manhattan. He gave a list of abilities Dr. Manhattan has:
