Sneak Peek- Penguin

Looks like we have some sneak peeks for next month- PENGUIN (from the Gotham show!)

A very different sculpt for penguin, and looking pretty true to appearance in the show, Oswald looks like he will be breathing new life into the penguin gang. This is the first of "GOTHAM" models, so we might yet see a young Gordon, or a Bullock

The sculpt looks solid- if a bit generic (guy in suit with umbrella)- looks like both arms will be separate parts, but hopefully the head will be attached!

Weapons - Knife and Umbrella

Traits - Luck, Mob, Persuasive, Scheming/2, Distract, Strategist, Cruel

Special Rules -Boss Orders (2SC): Once per round,all Henchmen in this character’s crew, while within 20cm of this character gain +1 to hit rolls in close combat attacks (the henchmen need to have the same affiliation that the boss to gain the bonus) -Survivor: When this character receives enough damage to become a Casualty, don’t remove him from the game, roll a die instead, on a result of 5+ this character removes 1 damage marker and continues in play (Knocked Down and remove the Actions Counters normally for damage accumulation), if not the character becomes a casualty normally

Penguin LOOKS like he gets a TON- but in a very delicate package. Some of the lowest stats we have seen so far- Mov 1 is the first character with a 1 Stat (beware Swamp thing penguin!), and a 6end leader, means he really should do his best to avoid conflict- But he has a TON of abilities that he can put to use

Strategist and Mob are solid traits even before he hits the board- but between Inspire, Persuasive, Cruel, Luck, Distract, Boss's Orders, and Order will be vying for use of his few special dice. I can certainly see 3 SC every turn.

I think he adds a very interesting element to the game, and being a fan of "controllers" I will be picking him up.
