This will be a multi-part series where I wrote out my game plan for how my troops would act depending on Initiative or Deployment. This really highlights why I say "I can`t build a list for you without an objective." I bought each individual unit with an attack in mind in accordance to my planned role and then I tried to execute my plan. This will be a weekly update until I run out of the posts. Let me know if you'd like to see more campaign play.
Below is a taste of what to expect.
"I didn't choose this fight, but by Allah, I will sure finish it," Tevesh opened his speech to the 54th Regiment. He slowly paced in front of the podium. He made a make eye contact with each individual soldier while yelling his commands evenly. His experience as a Drill Sergeant allowed him to shout indefinite, ad naseum. It also ensured that he did not require a mic, bypassing the possibility of curious Nomads.
"We may say that we Search for Knowledge but I know that we are Allah's fist incarnate. Our forces are the epitome of aggression, no matter what Maya reports about cyber Samurai or Greek Lhosts. I am certain you know of my reputation, which is why I am certain every one of you has dug their two-by-ones." Tevesh was considered nothing more than one of the most vicious brawlers in the Militarized Sphere. He published a living document on how to aggressively tear apart a technologically superior force with with Light Infantry. Most tacticians of the Sphere overlooked the continually revised document, but the Old Man hadn't.
"I am here, to command you, to success. Not all of us will be around to see that. Kerim Bey, Lord of the Gate, has been instrumental in supplying us with Qapu Khalqi assets. You will be our shield." Tevesh nods at the resting PMCs who grew restless at the praise. "The Old Man has favoured me with many willing hard men and women. Hassassins." The PMCs froze as the gears in their head unravelled the puzzle. There were an inordinate amount of civilians within this military company. Appearant civilians. What made the Hassassins dangerous is they could wear anyone's face. "They will be our sword."
"Infinity has been declared. We are gearing up for a massive war, but there will always be side-interests. The Combine are slipping through Acheron more and more every day, we have these Tohaa who come bearing gifts and the majority of our government is run by the computations of Alpeh instead of the wisdom of Man. While the war is important, individual battles can turn the tide, even if they are seemingly unrelated. As with any Infinity Op - they never happened, we weren't there and they don't exist. We are the unrelated side-interest. Our need to succeed is paramount." Tevesh turned to face his troops.
"I will use Al-Djabel if I need to!" Tevesh spat. The silence deepened, as everyone in the room realized the severity of the campaign they will be undergoing if the Old Man was willing to risk his prized pupil. Studying the room, Tevesh was satisfied that the serious Hassassins and the flippant PMCs of Qapu Khalqi understood the gravity of the Paradiso Campaign.
"I will call upon you when I need you."
THE RULES
I am playing a 250 point Paradiso campaign with my fellows in Ottawa. I am hoping to have the most involving campaign while I play through it, especially now that I am forced to play with the more useful stuff.
What does this mean?
I plan on writing Batreps of each of my games in a narrative fashion. I will notate which mission we played on, how did it go and how gave up their life for the cause.
I plan on giving every single one of my models a name, slight personality quirk and make Medvac/Cubevac rolls for them. That's the point of Infinity - each soldier can become a hero. And if each soldier can be a hero, that means they can die. Infinity is not a fun, friendly game of "Oh, look at all our heroes playing nicely with each other" despite O-12's legal list of weapons being water balloons and super soakers. Infinity is a game of death.
I am curious how high the body count will pile up before the end. All Briefings are written before the game is played, with a game plan created. It'll be full of lawls for everybody to see how much I get my ass handed to me.
Tune in next Mission Monday.

Yeah, that's a great news! I love narrative campaign. I will gladly follow your project!
