Everyone gave the pair of Naffatun a wide berth at the table. They were uninvolved in the eyeballing that was going around the room. Ifrit's manic grin housed a lit cigar, doing tricks with his lighter including waving his fingertips into the open flame. Lana was nothing like her namesake, she held a grim visage as her dark eyes slowly perused the room, pausing over to study certain people or objects without rhyme or reason.
The QK PMCs were staring daggers at Iman. "Why did you involve us with this warlord?" their stares said. Iman, with a sour grin returned each of their glares - "You won't live long enough to complain." Ibah, the Ghulam Doctor, dispassionately went over the health files between stolen glances at the Kaplan who got her into this mess. Yazan, the other Kaplan in the room, gave Shrapnel Magnet-02 a sharp kick to avoid Iman's return fire. Iman nodded with satisfaction at this. The Baggage Bot spun at the rebuke but stayed in place which gave the group an impression that the machine was somehow lonely.
Qusay, the apathetic Hassassin Barid ignored the stares, as he lazily went over the building's specs. "As your Ell Tee, I am going to suggest that we get into the building as soon as we can, but give a beat before we breach. Rafiq, you should be with us instead of ahead." The quiet Al Hawwa nodded, slowly polishing his Snake Mask, eying Iman sideways.
"I wouldn't pretend to tell you two what to do, I am sure you'll burn what needs to be burnt." Ifrit's grin didn't falter as he ashed his cigar, Lana was studying the overhead lights while Qusay gave the most intellgent suggestion to the pair of firebugs.
Qusay continued, slowly pawing at the terminal. "Rafiq, you may be used to disable these defense systems but I want to keep you in reserve to wipe out the existance that we were ever there. Iman and Yazan, I am certain the Sphere must know of the Kaplan's reputation by now. Be safe while completing our objectives. I'll get involved if I need to.
"Thabit, you're our ace of our aces, in case we fall you are to pick up the slack." Dhuka and Tevesh were not phased while everyone else were startled by the akimbo Husam. Rafiq gave a nod of respect, for sneaking up on a table of soldiers. Thabit did not acknowledge the salute.
"Ibah, you patch up anybody who drops," Tevesh finished. Ibah's eyes gleamed with a sadistic thrill at the possibility of casualties. There was a pause as the soldiers realized they really didn't want to be wounded and become Ibah's involuntary experiment. "Eat, sleep, pray. Allah akbar."
Ifrit hopped up and strode out of the briefing room. Dhuka rose from her seat and sauntered in the opposite direction, Qamar stood as she hoisted her Spitfire and followed the Odalisque. Seeing how the wind was blowing, Qusay padded after the women. Thabit looked at the path Ifrit took and also decided to follow the trio. The Kaplans and Al Hawwa followed the group with Shrapnel Magne-02 trailing. Ibah snorted at the superstitious group and strode to catch up with Ifrit.
Tevesh gave Lana a look which she blankly returned, he chuckled and walked away. He was quite fond of Naffatun and used them quite frequently. She eventually stood and left, but the walls were currently fascinating.

"It is nice to see that I don't need to debase myself by asking Bey to resurrect my entire force," Tevesh lifted Thabit's report. "Its a damned shame that I have to keep replacing Lieutenants at every opportunity."
"Qusay was reckless and his Orders did result in the completion of the objective," Thabit kept his eyes on the warlord.
"Reckless? I guess that's why Allah took him. Its good to see that my soldiers are not paper tigers, as demonstrated by the first two foray into this campaign. What happened? Yeah, I know you can write and I know I'm literate but I want to hear what happened from your own words."
Thabit was taken aback by the personal approach but when by the time he was done rattling off the opposition force's load outs, he was speaking with full momentum.

"Qamar took point, disabling two Sentries and made sure to watch the door Yazan was preparing to breach. Yazan followed Qamar's path before sprinting past a Security Drone. Yazan took out a Bao who was overlooking the door before opening the door and getting inside the room. Yazan had time to Hack one of the Consoles before the YuJing assault began.
"The Shaolin ran up and threw Smoke at a choke point that Qamar was overlooking. The State Empire Rui Shi moved into the Smoke and gunned down Qamar before she was able to react. The Rui Shi sprinted to the room and took out Yazan as well. A Tiger Soldier Hacker arrived by elevator and was moving to a flank when Ifrit gunned the Air Drop troop down.
"Dhuka cleared the path by destroying the Rui Shi after maneuvering to replace Qamar. Rafiq, under Qusay's Orders, used his superior training to enter the room undetected. Rafiq activated another Console before deciding to hide again once we notified him of YuJing movement. The Pheasant with Shaolin Monk were on the war path, the State Empire soldier-lawyer made a mess. He spotted Rafiq and fried our Hacker. The Pheasant positioned himself to cover the sole entrance and also threaten our attempts to wipe the computers. The Monk kept an eye on the reset Console, Chain Rifle at the ready."
Thabit ended the briefing with a casual tone. "Dhuka shot at the Monk who threw Smoke, Dhuka grappled the Monk to ensure Qusay to have a relative clear path to the final Console. We're uncertain as to what was the precise cause of death for Qusay when he ran to reset the system. He was shot by a Security Drone and the Pheasant Hacker had compromised our Lt's defense systems, frying his nervous system. I think that he should get a resting place that is better than a hole dug for latrines."
Tevesh thought for a moment before nodding. The Husam began to depart, to carry out the necessary tasks. "How is Yazan?" Tevesh inquired as Thabit was leaving.
"Hmm?"
"Expected to make a full recovery, if necessary he'll be ready for the next mission," Thabit turned and left.
