Copperhead Errata

There was a discussion on the Batman Forum about how no one lists Copperhead in their lists.  Personally, I subscribe to "lists discussions don't matter" so I never really noticed. I would use Copperhead and sometimes she would be amazing and other times she would fall flat on her face.  During the discussion, a lot of players were saying how they found Copperhead to be difficult.  Misty, the game's creator, stepped in and announced that the card was missing some text. What text?

Undercover.

This is at no additional cost.  Undercover is going to make Copperhead superior at grabbing objectives. With the new rule book, there would also be a few more changes to Copperhead's application.  For example, Acrobats on Defence is no longer as advatageous without the ability to stand on top of Titan/Ammo. This makes Copperhead more of an offensive piece, which Undercover helps, especially with the changes to interactions with Technique.  Now, by spending 1 SC you Activate Technique, meaning that if you cause an opponent to be knocked down by matching dice, you get the extra 4+ damage - even if you fail to do Wound.

  1. I think the addition makes her quite appealing, especially since it costs no extra points. I'd be more likely to take her over Catwoman in most cases, unless I'm planning on trying to pick up loot.
