UNLIKELY ALLEGIANCES
Lists
Players agree on a point total between 150-250. Each player then builds a list at that size.
SETUP
Each player rolls a D6 for deployment. The player that rolls the highest picks any point on the board. The player then deploys all their models within 15cm of that point. The next highest player then does the same, but their point must be at least 30cm away from any other player's. Continue until everyone has deployed.
OBJECTIVES
Each player places one LOOT objective anywhere in an enemy's deployment zone. Once an objective has been placed in an enemy's deployment zone, another objective may not be placed there
TURNS
game is 6 rounds.
SPECIAL
Instead of the normal "raise the plan"- at the beginning of each turn, every player rolls a d6. Players then "raise the plan" and activate their models in that order.
IF 2 or more players roll the same result- they are "teamed" for that turn. They may not attack each other's models, and any victory points that one player gains, his "team mate" gains an equal amount.

That looks really great. We will certainly try this soon.
ReplyDeleteI just tried this tonight, it was great. Allowed for some tactical decisions when you can't attack your "ally" but you're probably not going to be allies next turn.
