Batman on YouTube

A few times, in my rush to get an article for Saturday well-researched and optimized weekend articles, I've gone digging into various Batman memes. I think that there is a draw to Batman because well... He's Batman.  For fans of the Caped Crusader, this gives ample comedic nuggets to dig into. For those with a larger budget, this means some amazing special effects.

College Humour has a continuing skit of "Badman" in which Batman was actually terrible at his job. This is probably my favourite skit, about Batman's first night out. As much as I love the Nolan trilogy, I think this video highlights the absurdity of part of the first movie:
Batman even got the Epic Rap Battles of History treatment with a showdown versus Sherlock Holmes.
A few months ago, Endalyon came across this Reddit meme and Superhero showdowns have been in my mind since.
1 Will Protect You, The Other 8 Will Try to Kill You, Choose Wisely
The two leading contenders for protection were Vader and Batman, which is why when I stumbled across Super Power Beat Down, I was immediately impressed with their production value.
Batman has also been in two different Death Battles, one versus Spider-Man and another versus Captain America. The result in one makes me question the result in another. Take your bets now.
Moving back to more comedic uses of Batman, is his continual use alongside Superman in the "How It Should Have Ended" YouTube series. The entire series is pointing out logical inconsistencies or amusing alternatives in movies, which then usually ends with Superman and Batman chatting in a cafe. Their episode on Batman Begins continues the always awesome "Because he's Batman" argument as for why Batman can do anything.
As for why Batman makes for great comedy gold? Well, I think David Willis' comic sums it up perfectly:

    1. Maybe I was inoculated from the skits when that came out. While amusing, I like the voice one more. The Badman voice one always cracks me up as it is frequently the criticism of Bale's Batman.
